A gradual release of responsibility is embedded in this activity, as students are first asked to choose the correct singular or plural noun (two choices), then asked to choose between four choices, and then asked to produce the correct singular or plural noun on their own and identify it as singular or plural.

Brad Meltzer has created an incredible series of "I am" biography books for young people. This bundled product includes 3 individual literature companions for his series titled Ordinary People Change the World. These literature companions are the perfect way to provide literature skills, research, and teach growth mindset all in one day. By using this famous entertainers bundle your students can learn about famous entertainers and complete research activities in a fun and engaging way.
Due to the importance of the messages embedded in these stories, I've created these activities for 2nd-4th graders (as opposed to early primary grades). These "I am" biography books provide a fabulous segue for discussions about how ordinary people can change the world. Shakespeare Mega Bundle of Play Scripts & Activities | Digital & Print

This bundle has four play scripts written for young performers: Hamlet, Macbeth, Richard III and A Midsummer Night's Dream; and eight digital activities ideal for distance learning: six close reading activities and two digital writing units. The digital resources would span fourteen lessons. These resources are perfect for Distance Learning in 5th grade or 6th grade, and are ideal for students learning about World History, or some of his famous plays.

Time allowance to complete each activity:
5-10 minutes - read through the text individually.
40-50 minutes - answer questions using the text as guidance (including extension activity)
Time allowance to assess each activity:
A class set of activities might take around 15-20 minutes to mark; the teacher can then send the students their marks automatically, which allows them to read back through their work. Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

This bundle has seven online activities that would span nineteen lessons about basketball superstars Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Steph Curry. The resources are perfect for Distance Learning in third grade or fourth grade, and are ideal for students learning about U.S. History, famous sport stars or for Black History Month.

Firstly, there are three Close Reading Activities, or informational texts, with comprehension and grammar questions followed by extension tasks about LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Steph Curry. The resources are Google Forms activities and are ideal for distance learning.
Secondly, there are three Biography Writing Units about the same players. The units have been split into four separate lessons each. The Google Slides activities are ideal for distance learning. In each unit the first lesson is interactive and involves students reading facts, and then sorting and ordering these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to type four paragraphs. Then, in the third lesson they need to choose the most important facts and include these in an introduction; after this they need to answer several questions before typing up their conclusion. In the final lesson your class will need to check their draft paragraphs before typing up their work on to the template provided.
Finally, there is a Discussion Based Writing Unit about who is the greatest modern-day basketball player. The first lesson involves students retrieving facts from informational texts about Michael Jordan, LeBron James or Stephen Curry, and typing these on to an included fact sheet. In the second lesson students need to use these facts to write three to four paragraphs about the individual players. In the third lesson students need to use prompt sheets to write up an introduction and a conclusion. In the final lesson students need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before typing up their work using the template provided.
