Homeschool Place slug Task Cards

With these printable notation cards your students will practice reading and translating numbers in expanded, standard, and word form, as well as in Golden Bead (Base Ten Blocks) form. They can read one side, translate the number by making it with the Montessori math materials or by writing it down, then they would check the back of the card to see if they were right. They can also work in the other direction by starting on the opposite side of the card.

Here are some additional details to help you decide if this resource is right for you:

➡️ Each card is 8.5" x 2.75".

➡️ For best results you will need to print double-sided.

➡️ You get six sets of cards with 20 cards in each set. That's 120 cards in total!

➡️ The six different sets are as follows:

1. Expanded form on one side and standard form on the other
2. Expanded form on one side and Golden Bead form on the other
3. Standard form on one side and word form on the other k
4. Word form on one side and expanded form on the other
5. Standard form on one side and Golden Bead form on the other
6. Word form on one side and Golden Bead form on the other

Children will practice matching number and quantity by using their classroom Stamp Game to solve the 4-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problem that's on the front of the command card (in Montessori place value colors!). The answer to the problem is represented visually on the back of the card with the Stamp Game stamps, which means elf-correction is a breeze!
