As a teacher, teaching conversions was always a struggle for my students until we created the Dinosaur and Mounse strategies. In this strategy, the larger measurement is the Dinosaur, and the small measurement is the Mouse. The beginning letters correspond with the math operation needed to find the proper conversion, making it easy for students to remember what operations use.
