This August Wilson Fences [QUIZ] is featured. 16-Question Multiple Choice Quiz [with Answer Key provided] assesses students' comprehension through the reading of the text. It also has a SUGGESTED USES page to give students a change in how they take an assessment. Students will learn and have fun through their analysis of this classic drama.
SUMMARY:
August Wilson's Fences focuses on the protagonist Troy Maxson, an African-American man in his fifties. Troy has been married to Rose for eighteen years, and they have a teenage son, Cory. Fences introduces us to Troy who believes though that it was due to the discrimination against African Americans that kept him from his dreams.
This 10th - 12th grade canonized work allows students to navigate lost dreams and discrimination through these characters and multiple memorable story.
