Do you start your day with morning meeting and the calendar? This easy to use, projectable, and printable, Google Slides file consists of customizable slides with monthly calendar templates on them, starting with August 2024 and going to July 2025. There is a draggable colored rectangle on each month to mark "today". The basic template (colored header with the month name and an icon, and the grid with the days marked on it,) is NOT editable, but you can easily add icons / text on top of it to note important dates or to count the number of days you’ve been in school. Adding icons for special days is both more visually interesting than just text *and* more accessible to non-readers or visual learners. There is a birthday cake icon on each slide that you can duplicate and use to mark class birthdays. There are 40+ other icons included to mark other special dates on the calendar and 9 icons to record the day's weather for a total of over 50 icons. As with any other Slides file, you can of course print it. If you prefer to use PowerPoint, you can easily download this file to use in PowerPoint so long as you have a Google account.

You will need a Google account to use the link provided once you have bought the file. It is set up so that you will make a copy of my original file and choose where in your Google Drive you would like to save it.

✤ To Print Task Cards: The Task Cards, as downloaded, are 1/2 page which are great for students that need a larger size. To print 4x6 index card sized task cards, select "2 pages per sheet". To print 3x5 index card sized task cards, select "4 pages per sheet". These are not designed to print directly to index card template paper. What has worked best for my students was to print to on heavy duty card stock and laminate.
