This resource is designed to expose students to a variety of real over the counter medications that they would find in their local pharmacies, grocery stores, general merchandise retailer or even in their medicine cabinets at home. Students will read the medicine labels closely and answer questions to show understanding. This resource introduces medications that are taken at different times of day (A.M. & P.M.), different ways to take medications (pill, syrup, chewable tablet), and where to look to find out important information such as what the medication treats, how long the medication works for, and what strength the dosage is.

This creative and printable board game has been developed to provide a foundation which explores puberty, relationship, sexuality & protective behaviours.

“Next Steps” has been developed for an equal opportunity for role modelling, education and learning from other responses. This game supports self-expression, enhancement of self esteem and confidence and brainstorming alternative behavioural and interactional choices and actions.
