⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Comprehensible Textbook says "This was my first unit purchase from the Frenchified store and I am in love with it!! This gave me all the tools I needed to teach the imparfait in a way that focused much more on CI (speaking, listening, writing and reading the language) instead of just grammar drills and worksheets. I will say that it took a little bit to make the resources my own to fit my classroom, but that is probably a best practice for any resource you get from TeachShare. I look forward to using your units from now on!!!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sara L. says “I've been wanting to take the CI plunge and this resource did it for me! I experimented with 7th graders who have French for only 9 weeks and my level I 8th graders. I wasn't sure how the 7th graders would react but they LOVED it! I followed the resource almost exactly although I did need to spread the days out a bit. I was amazed at what students could DO at the conclusion of the unit. This did it for me, I have purchased the following units from Frenchified and am now a fan of CI! “
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mme CC says “This resource is quite the gem. It has everything you need. I love the amount of prepared comprehensible input we have! My district textbook claims to be CI based, but there isn't nearly enough input provided. As a busy teacher, I needed something with input and output tasks ready to go and this has it all! Thank you so much! I look forward to using the other units!”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hannah H says “I liked all the repetition, and I purchased another of these packs. My students like the pictures, and recognized most of the famous people used in the PowerPoint. I love how the PowerPoint was in Word, I was able to turn it into google slides (we use Schoology, and it takes Google Docs) with no problem. Great resource! It also comes with worksheets and some graphic organizers. Love all those things. “
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mlle D says “Another fantastic resource that proved to be versatile and well worth the money. It was so easy to pick and choose activities to include during distance learning. I love the consistency with your units and how well laid out and organized they are. “

French Extra activities megabundle includes activities for all 13 episodes
By Frenchified
This Extra French activities megabundle includes activities for all 13 episodes of the French version of the show. Includes comprehension and vocabulary activities to make each episode more useful.
The show Extra! is a thirteen-episode series for French language learners. it takes place in a Paris apartment/dormitory and has four main characters - Sam, Nico, Sacha, and Annie. Sam is an American who is trying to learn French as well as to make some new friends. He has a secret that will affect the way he relates to other people.
Each episode can stand alone, although it is more interesting to start from the beginning and watch them in order. I spread the episodes out over the course of a semester, but you could do them more or less frequently.
I usually show these to my second-year students during the second semester. They have enough vocabulary to understand most of the dialog by this time. As the season goes on, Sam's French skills improve - and the level of language used by the characters also goes up.
The worksheets come with comprehensive answers and exercising instructions, which will make teaching more organized and comprehensive! Students will receive scaffolding in addition to regular comprehension checks to promote their learning journey. Not sure how they are doing? Each question also comes with an answer key so you can easily track their progress.
The worksheets provide comprehension checks but also scaffolding resources.
For each episode you will find activities such as:
vocabulary list with English translations
vocabulary list with no translations - have students fill in while watching
comprehension questions in French
comprehension questions in English
flashcards for the vocabulary list
a word spiral puzzle
a crossword puzzle
fill in the blanks
Scrambled sentences
a word search puzzle
There are many places to view the episodes, YouTube has them in both sub-titled and non-subtitled versions. For lower-level students, I would suggest the version with French subtitles.

Each podcast is in both English and French - so even novice-high students can enjoy the stories. The podcasts are approximately 24 minutes long and are available for free on the Duolingo podcast site. This bundle of activities is meant to accompany episodes from season 11.
The activities include both pre- and post-listening activities. To prepare your students to listen to the podcast, you will find:
During the podcast, students can take notes on the sheet provided in the activity if you wish them to do so.
After listening, students can do the comprehension questions. There is a set of 10 questions, in both English and French to check for understanding. There is also a page with 10 true and false questions and 10 fill in the blank questions.
If you would like the students to read the complete transcript of the podcast, you will find it on the Duolingo Podcast site. Please note that I am not affiliated with Duolingo and these activities do not contain the transcript or podcast - but they do contain the link to the site where you can legally find both.
ACTFL Standards Alignment:
