This interactive Civil Rights Movement Flip Book activity featuring Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr. is a no-prep, printable close reading activity that's perfect for middle school and high school. Perfect for celebrating Black History Month in your classroom.

Students will read the article titled "Icons of the Civil Rights Movement" which honors four important historical figures of Black History. After reading, students will construct a flipbook and answer a reading comprehension question about each figure. All answers can be found in the article! After that, students may color their flip books and present to a partner. This truly is an all-in-one activity!

President's Day Flipbook
