9th Grade Classroom Management Posters

Use this banner to select a student weekly. I hang ribbon under the banner and clip the child's name to it. I also teach two sections so I actually hang two ribbons! The kids love seeing who will be selected each week! I try not to base the student of the week on grades and try to focus more on improvement shown, effort, etc. I give each child a small certificate that they can take home, and the best part is that they also get to visit the treasure chest! This poster goes along with CHAMPS (PBIS) and is designed to remind students of appropriate volumes for each activity. It is helpful for any classroom management strategy and can be implemented in mosts grade levels. I often reference my poster when giving instructiosn and setting expectations for our activities.

I used these signs as a bathroom management flip chart. I print the first sheet out on green (go) and the second sheet on red (wait). I punch holes at the top and put rings in the holes. Then I hang them on command hooks and place in a good visual spot in my classroom for everyone to see at all times. During work time I flip the sign to green and during lessons I flip the chart to red. Hope you enjoy!
