Enhance your students' ability to communicate and interact effectively with this Essential Social Skills for Successful Interactions SEL activity, perfect for middle and high school classrooms! This resource is designed to help students brainstorm, understand, and practice the key social skills needed to succeed in relationships, academics, and future careers.
Students will brainstorm key social skills needed for successful interactions. They can work individually or in pairs to identify and discuss skills such as active listening, empathy, and clear communication. This activity helps students develop awareness of effective interpersonal behaviors while encouraging collaboration and discussion.
Also included is an Exploring Your Social Skills Reflection Worksheet with three thought-provoking questions designed to help students examine their own experiences with social skills. Sample responses are provided to guide students in crafting meaningful and personal answers.
This resource can be a helpful addition to any lesson or activity you’ve planned for your students. The worksheets provide a simple way for students to take notes and brainstorm ideas about important social skills for interacting with others. They can also be used for class discussions, pair activities, group work, or small group tasks.

Growth Mindset Quotes Posters and Worksheets Distance Learning FREE

This character traits quotes posters and activities file now includes a digital distance learning option in Google Slides™. Please refer to the final 7 pages of the product file for instructions and links.
This Growth Mindset Character Traits Quotes product includes three character traits quotes posters (in full color and in black-and-white) and three corresponding printable worksheets for student reflections.
This character traits quotes product is a sample of larger character quotes products.
You can use the FULL size character traits quotes resources in a number of ways.
- Display each quote in the classroom as time allows and discuss one quote at a time.
- Complete the printables during class, with partners or groups, or send it home for homework.
- Choose your four favorite quotes and create a “Quote of the Week” activity.
- Display all the quotes and ask students to vote on the quotes they’d like to explore. Use the corresponding printables.
In most cases, students can complete the printables without any additional resources. Periodically, the students will be asked to discuss the author of the quote (if it is applicable). In these cases, allow students to use reference materials (a computer, for example).
Please note that the top two boxes on each printable ask the students to reflect on the quote and apply it to their own lives. The bottom boxes on each printable are unique questions based on the quote given. These questions are designed to stir thinking and stimulate meaningful discussions related to the quote.
Use this quotes product in conjunction with your school wide Character Education or Character Traits curriculum.

As of 8/17/20, this product includes a digital option (as well as the no prep printable option). The instructions for utilizing the digital portion appear at the end of the packet.
Technology Requirements:
- A Google Drive account
- If sharing with students, a Drive account that is linked to student Google accounts
- Can be shared/delivered on Google Classroom
- Only need access to Google Drive--no outside links to worry about!
These file can be used with iPads, chrome books, laptops, and desktops as long as your students have access to Google Drive or Classroom on a device. The digital portion of this product is on Google Slides™.
