Do your students struggle with factoring? Students need to practice pre-factoring skills of using the Diamond Method. This is a set of notes and practice worksheets for you to print and go. My students struggle when we start factoring with a=1 or a>1 to find the numbers that would fit the requirements. This guides students in this process. Integer operations Picture Puzzles- Students solve problems using the four operations with positive and negative numbers. The solutions to these problems create a mystery picture when the lines between the answers are connected in the correct order.

There are two different activities- one for addition/subtraction and one for multiplication/division.

Students can self-check and make corrections while completing this activity, which prevents them from completing an entire assignment before realizing they do not understand a concept.
