This Father's Day gift and craft activity provides a unique way to celebrate the occasion with personalized comic stories that showcase the superhero qualities of their loved ones. Your students can draw and write about their dad or father figure, turning their stories into a treasured Father's Day gift. Younger students can use the spaces to illustrate their story. To guide your students along the way, there are written text bubbles strategically placed to help spark their imagination and storytelling skills. The final product can be displayed in the classroom or given as a gift.

This pack includes 5 storylines:

  • Mighty Dad,
  • Captain Dad to the Rescue,
  • Dad the Gadget Genius,
  • Protector Dad on Duty,
  • Adventure Dad, Lead the Way.
  • a blank template for students to create their own storyline or adapt it to celebrate any special person in their life.

There are several creative ways to assemble a comic book as a gift:

  1. Traditional Binding: Print out the comic book pages and use a hole puncher to make holes along one edge of the pages. Then, thread ribbon, twine, or binder rings through the holes to bind the pages together.
  2. Stapling: Print the pages and use a stapler to bind them together along one edge. Make sure to position the staples evenly and securely to hold the pages in place.
  3. Spiral Binding: Take your comic book pages to a print shop or office supply store that offers spiral binding services. They will punch holes along one edge and insert a plastic or metal spiral binding to hold the pages together.
  4. Comic Book Sleeve: Print the comic book pages and slide them into individual comic book sleeves. Then, place the sleeves in a protective cover or binder.
