This resource focuses on CHAPTER 14 of We Beat The Street and features 5 inference-based questions that require students to demonstrate inferential thinking and a deep analysis of the chapter - beyond literal comprehension. Each inference-based question can be treated as an extended response where students must make inferences and support their responses, ideas, and/or analysis with evidence from the text.
► There is a "combo" worksheet, which includes all five questions on two pages. There are also 5 separate worksheets that include the same questions on a different worksheet. This allows for more extensive responses. You can have students either complete all five inference-based questions on the "combo" worksheet all at once OR you can have students complete each of the questions at different times: for classwork, independent practice, homework, or formative assessment - your choice! You can even give students different questions depending on their levels - excellent for differentiation.
