Introduction to probability no prep lesson.

Begin with an interactive activity - make a probability line in the middle of your classroom (certain at one end, impossible at the other). Students place an event card where they think it lies along the line.

Worksheet on drawing probability lines and deciding where to add events. Answers are included but many responses are particular to each student.

The Median can be a difficult concept for students to master. A relevant approach to teaching the statistical value of the Median is to have students determine the High and Low temperatures of the weather for a week.
