Cartoon Last Character Standing

Students will be given a list of Cartoon Characters to see how their characters are eliminated over a 10 day period during the Last Character Standing Games. They will be given a pair of dice that will be used to determine if the character moves on to the next day or if they are eliminated. On the back is a series of questions to ensure that students are learning about experimental probability. Very fun and there will be a lot of laughs.

The Quadratic Formula, Algebra Mini Project

In this project, students will create a trifold flyer of The Quadratic Formula. The flyer will include:

*Deriving the formula

*Solving an example using the Quadratic Formula

*Coming up with examples.

Students can create this flyer as to teach someone else the lesson on deriving the Quadratic Formula. This project will help students understand the formula and how it was derived. It will also allow students to think and come up with their own examples with answers.

Students will complete 8 Clue Sheets covering major 7th grade topics including ratios, proportional relationships, the number system, simplifying expressions, equations, area/volume, inequalities and probability ! After they discover who took what with what to who (and more) they will fill in the blanks of a story and create their own book cover! This review activity has been created with 7th grade level questions but will keep your students engaged and excited.

This 7th grade math escape room is a great end of year review project that is completely SELF CHECKING and includes 40 questions to Escape from Mathematical Mansion! Students will complete 4 multiple choice questions in each of the 10 rooms covering major 7th grade topics including signed numbers, operations with fractions, greatest common factor, number properties, linear equations, mean, median, mode, surface area and proportions! After they solve the questions they will take their letter answer choice in order and write it under the locked door.

Before they can move to the next room they will go to there LOCK DECODER (Google Sheet) and put their code in. If the box turns green they can move to the next room. If the box turns red they must find their error and try again!

Their FINAL CHALLENGE will be to create their own multiple choice question per topic, which a template is provided for.

This Algebra Halloween Mystery Project will have your students excited to do math on Halloween! There is a printable and digital version of this project included!
