Narrative Picture Book Writing Project for Grades 4-8: Max, The Library Cat

In this narrative picture book writing project for grades 4-8, students partner up in Author-Illustrator teams to create a picture book about the adventures of Max, the Library Cat. Throughout the multi-day workshop, students will experience every step of the narrative writing process as they work their way from finding inspiration all the way down to publishing. **This workshop is WICOR-ized for AVID students. Students will focus on writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading throughout the duration of the project.
