Vertebrates Classification and Characteristics Worksheets Animal Kingdom No Prep

By working through these worksheets, students can classify vertebrates according to the five animal groups (mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles). After classifying, students will identify and write specific characteristics of each animal group in the table provided. Word banks are provided to help students with some key vocabulary related to the specific characteristics of vertebrates. These worksheets can also be used as notes in their notebooks to review the topic.
This helps students easily compare and contrast different characteristics across the five vertebrate groups.
