Fun, engaging practice:

Students enjoy this engaging activity to practice finding distances on the coordinate plane. Students have fun revealing the picture created using correct answers. Students will troubleshoot incorrect answers and persevere in solving the problem correctly.

This self-checking Google Form is a good practice for students to find distances on the coordinate plane with and without a coordinate plane as reference.

Gather and analyze Christmas Data:

Students will use the lyrics of the carol The 12 Days of Christmas to gather data to analyze. They will create two different Frequency Tables based on two different sets of categories. With one set of categories, the students will find the measures of central tendency and complete a box plot. With the other set of categories, the students will create a graph.

This product has both a printable option and digital option. When using the digital option, students will enter one set of data to create a digital graph. They will practice entering data, creating a graph, and customizing the graph in Google Sheets.

Great activity to complete for a meaningful holiday lesson. Can be assigned for virtual learning or engaging homework assignment.

These bellringers are based on “National day of...”. The problems presented cover measurement conversion, geometry (polygons, perimeter, area, volume), data collection and analysis.

This is a digital activity which can be posted each day. Answer sheets are provided in three options. Teachers can choose between sheets with or without reference items.
