Narrative, Descriptive & Summary Christmas Writing | My Snowman Came to Life

Get ready to unleash your student's creativity and embark on a writing adventure filled with winter wonder!
Brrr! Winter has arrived, blanketing the world in a layer of sparkling snow. Today is the perfect day to build a snowman! But what if their snowman suddenly came to life?
What's Included?
Narrative Writing: The Magical Moment: Tell the story! Describe the scene, their initial reaction, and how the snowman interacts with them. Did they talk to?
Descriptive Writing: A Frosty Friend: Taking a closer look at their snowman. A descriptive paragraph detailing its appearance. Focus on specific features like its texture, the sparkle of the snow, or the way its eyes (made of buttons or pebbles) seem to come alive.
Summary Writing: A Day of Winter Fun: Let them imagine they spent the entire day with their living snowman! Time to write a summary describing the activities they did together. Did they build a snow fort? Have a snowball fight? Go sledding? The possibilities are endless!
