Integrity Posters & Activities Lesson: Character Traits Quotes with a Digital Option

These character traits quotes posters and activities for INTEGRITY are perfect character traits activities for your classroom! This file includes 10 integrity posters (in full color and in black-and-white) and 10 corresponding integrity worksheets.

You can use this resource in a number of ways.

• Display each character quote poster in the classroom as time allows and discuss one quote at a time.
• Complete the activities during class, with partners or groups, or send it home for homework. Intriguing discussion will come out of larger group interactions.
• Choose four favorite quotes and create a Character Trait Quote of the Week activity using the posters and the worksheets.
• Display all the quotes and ask students to vote on the character quotes they would like to explore. Use the corresponding worksheets.

In most cases, students can complete the worksheets without any additional resources. Periodically, the students will be asked to discuss the author of the quote (if it is applicable). In these cases, allow students to use reference materials (a computer, for example).

Please note that the top two boxes on each printable ask the students to reflect on the quote and apply it to their own lives. The bottom boxes are unique questions based on the quote given. These questions are designed to stir thinking and stimulate meaningful discussions.

Perseverance Posters and Printable Reflection Activities: Character Traits Quotes w/ Digital Option

These character traits quotes posters and activities for PERSEVERANCE are perfect growth mindset activities for your classroom! This file includes 10 perseverance posters (in full color and in black-and-white) and 10 corresponding perseverance worksheets.

You can use this resource in a number of ways.

• Display each character quote in the classroom as time allows and discuss one quote at a time.
• Complete the activities during class, with partners or groups, or send it home for homework. Intriguing discussion will come out of larger group interactions.
• Choose four favorite quotes and create a Character Trait Quote of the Week activity using the posters and the worksheets.
• Display all the quotes and ask students to vote on the character quotes they would like to explore. Use the corresponding worksheets.

In most cases, students can complete the worksheets without any additional resources. Periodically, the students will be asked to discuss the author of the quote (if it is applicable). In these cases, allow students to use reference materials (a computer, for example).

Please note that the top two boxes on each printable ask the students to reflect on the quote and apply it to their own lives. The bottom boxes are unique questions based on the quote given. These questions are designed to stir thinking and stimulate meaningful discussions.

The uses for this teaching elementary students to name feelings and describe their emotions activity are endless. Whether you need an activity for the first day of school, want to enhance students' emotional understanding, gauge students' emotions, or as an icebreaker for small groups, this activity is for your students.

Help your elementary students learn the words needed to name their feelings and describe their emotions. This can be used as a stand-alone activity, or as part of a six-lesson describing and understanding emotions bundle.

Included in this Download:

Emotion Words Posters:
Teach each emotion (sad, uneasy, surprised, angry, disgusted, and happy) one at a time to your class or small group. Explain that there are many emotion words and descriptors for each emotion. The emotion words are difficult, your students probably have not encountered most of them. Challenge your students to uncover the meanings of the emotion words and how they could use the words to describe their emotions. Once you’ve reviewed an emotion, display the poster on the wall or board for students to use as a reference.

Chameleon Color Chart:
Use this as a quick guide/reference chart to review each emotion. This should be utilized when explaining directions for the worksheet.

Roll and Respond:
Two templates to help you get the conversation started.

Worksheet:
Complete worksheet with group.
Here are the worksheet directions:

1. Color the chameleons on the Chameleon Color Chart to create your own color guide.

2. Think of your current mood and emotions, what colors on the color guide match how you feel? Using the Chameleon Color Chart as a guide, color your chameleon based on your current emotions. You may use as many colors as you need to describe how you feel.

3. When finished coloring, look at the Emotion Words on the back of this page, choose three to six that describe how you’re feeling. Write them on your chameleon.

4. Complete the statements at the bottom of this page.
