Apple Music Curator Playlist Assignment - Great for Back to School!

By MsNerdWood

This package includes 4 tasks to get your students thinking about their musical choices. What Is Included: Task 1: Create Your Apple Playlist Task 2: Descriptive Paragraph About Your Playlist Task 3: Cover Art Design Task 4: Reflection Questions (Equity and Inclusivity) Rubric I typically give this assignment out at the beginning of the school year to get to know my student’s taste in music. It takes between 4-6 periods to complete and is appropriate for grade 5-8. Please note: This assignment works best if you are able to access Apple Music. As a teacher, you could always set up a free account to show to your students or ask your students if any of them already have it and would be willing to show the class how it works. Spend some time and show them how to use it if you have access to it. You can also see some demos from the Apple website. If you do not subscribe to Apple Music, I highly recommend it. You can still use this assignment without Apple Music with your students and they can reflect on the inclusivity of the playlist that they create. TIPS: 1. Be sure to leave feedback to earn your TeachShare credits! 2. If you like what you see - follow me for new products and updates (click the star by my store name MsNerdWood).
