Easter Themed Math Fact Game (Multiplication & Division 1-9)

By Miss Yous Clues and Resources

This is a chutes and ladders style game but features the Easter Bunny and his basket of eggs. This product includes one board game, directions on how to play the game, and 1-9 multiplication/division fact cards. You can choose whether you have your students practice their basic multiplication facts, division facts, or a combination of both. Review skills in an engaging, fun way this Easter! Students will race to be the first one to reach the basket of eggs while practicing math facts along the way.

Directions on how to play: Students will play in pairs. They must create a spinner using a pencil and paperclip. Spin the spinner to find out how many spaces you move. Before moving your game piece, answer one of the equations. If you get it correct, you can move that many spaces forward. If you answer the equation incorrectly, you lose your turn.

If you land on the bunny footsteps, follow them upward to where they end to advance on the board.

If you land on the top of the rainbow, slide down to the space where it ends.

If you land on a space with the broken egg, go back 2 spaces. The first player to reach the basket of eggs at the end wins!

Easter Social Emotional Activities: Social Problem Solving Scenarios

By The Responsive Educator

Mix up your Easter classroom routine with our Easter Social Problem Solving Activity, designed to nurture social and emotional growth in your students.

Swap out the usual holiday routine with these fun social problem-solving scenarios. They're the perfect way to add a touch of social-emotional learning to your Easter celebration, making it not just festive but also full of valuable lessons.

CASEL 5 Social-Emotional Competencies: Our scenarios are thoughtfully crafted to ignite discussions around the CASEL 5 social-emotional competencies – Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.

What's Included

  • 3 social problem-solving worksheets, each with 5 different Easter-related social situations
  • both color and black and white versions

How it Works

  1. Decide if you want students to work independently, with a partner, or in groups. Or have students work alone and then share answers in a class discussion.
  2. Students read each situation, deciding whether the child in the scenario made a good or poor choice. This process encourages critical thinking and reflection on social behaviors.
  3. For good choices, students explain why the decision was positive. For poor choices, students propose alternative ways to handle the situation, sparking meaningful discussions around social skills and empathy.

Sample Easter Scenarios

  • Chris's Easter Cleaning: Chris helps clean the house before Easter dinner without complaining.

  • Megan's Fit Over the Prize: Megan throws a fit when she doesn't win the bike from an egg at the hunt.

  • Caleb's Egg Toss Outburst: Caleb gets upset and yells at his sister after she accidentally drops an egg during the Easter egg toss.
