2025 Word of the Year - Set Your New Year's Intention by Creating a 3D Cube

Welcome your students back from winter break and get back on the right track with a quick activity to reset intentions for the new year. This activity will allow your students to reflect on the past year and create a clear intention for the new year by choosing one important word.
36 example words, 18 words with definitions, and one complete example are provided to scaffold this task for students having difficulty.
The activity concludes by creating a small 3D cube (approximately 2.5" x 2.5") that can be kept in a visual location to serve as a daily reminder of this year's goals.
It includes templates for 2025 - 2029 so you can use this for years to come. Have fun and set new intentions with the 3D Word of the Year!
