Students will discover the cultural significance behind each animal & creature & complete multiple activities. Looking for an intro to the teachings? I have lessons for both primary lessons and anintermediate lesson, both introduce the 7 Sacred Teachings.
The Bear:
Learn all about black bears, their lifecycle, diet, habitat, bear safety and the Indigenous importance. Students will complete two fun activities; a maze and a colouring page.
The Eagle:
Learn all about the bald eagle, an Indigenous icon. This lesson will cover lifecycle, bald eagle appearance, diet, eagle feathers and a Indigenous art colouring sheet.
The Wolf:
Learn about the wolves that live in Canada! Wolf packs, lifecycle, their diet, wolf populations, the types of wolves who reside in Canada and the Indigenous significance to the wolf.
