This Valentine's Day Lapbook with Reading Comprehension Activities is another installment to our Holidays Around the World Lapbook Collection. As the other lapbooks of the bundle, we're bringing fun and exciting project for the learners' to understand and connect more what Valentine's Day is all about. This is a great activity and project for students in the primary level. Designed to be a holiday activity, it can also be a supplemental project and assessment tool for reading comprehension. The lapbook is also designed for both individual project and group activity. This helps the students' creativity and connect their own ideas to the lessons in class or in modules they have for their homeschooling activities. Help students predict and classify with this observation journal! Students first learn about the flowering plant life cycle. Then, they label the important parts of a plant. Student then plant one of 4 seeds- sunflower, firecracker, moonflower or marigold. They make predictions on what flower this will become based on the identification pages. Once a week, or whenever the educator feels is fit, the students note any changes, make a prediction on draw an observation. Let the growing begin! Seeds not included :)
