My Frog Life Cycle Booklet Includes:

-Color and Black & White of each handout.

-A fictional frog story that incorporates the handouts that come in the booklet.

- Graphic Organizer of the Frog Cycle (Descriptive-Writing).

- Graphic Organizer of the Frog Cycle (Students will illustrate).

- Reading Comprehension Sheet with fictional story (Questions for reading strategies).

This is a wonderful booklet to combine with a Science lesson on the frog cycle. Students will enjoy writing and drawing the frog cycle. The fictional story is fun and goes well with the lesson. I also created a reading comprehension sheet that incorporates the Reading Common Core as well.

FREE! Decipher the context clues and symbols to figure out the words to famous Christmas movie titles, such as: Elf Night Before Christmas Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Santa Claus is Coming to Town Frosty the Snowman Nutcracker Home Alone White Christmas Little Drummer Boy Polar Express Plus, have fun writing your own inferencing and logic Christmas movie puzzle at the end. Fun activity for small/whole group with colorful illustrations and Answer Key (at end).

This is a 1-page activity with answer key (which is 3 pages, for easier reading). Page count includes info and contact pages.

SOME NOTES

This is meant as a pre- or post-assessment. Sometimes English is tricky (okay, more than sometimes).

VERBS:

Words like "don't" appear in this story activity, and as a contraction and auxiliary verb, I am not counting it as a verb learners will easily identify. If someone does circle it as a verb, then kudos to them! Maybe they get extra credit!

Any other words that take similar forms or that may cause discrepancy may appear, but the answer key shows the words I meant to be correct.

Use discretion when assessing students, as some words may not be on most students' radar.

NOUNS:

At least twice, a proper noun appears. "Distance" and "there" are also included as nouns, albeit spatial and almost abstract ones. "Past" also is included as a noun, a time-based one that may not easily be spotted. I am not including pronouns (you, we, etc.) as nouns in this case.

ADJECTIVES:

"Folding" could trip some learners up since it in many cases is a verb, but in the story's example, it's acting as an adjective (folding chairs). If anyone circles it as a verb, I say it's up to you whether you count it as such, but keep consistent between students. Otherwise, it's fairly straightforward and there aren't many.

Use this Sequence of Events Interactive Reading Bookmark, correlating poster, and Google Slide to differentiate for student needs, practice close reading strategies to build reading comprehension, and hold students accountable for their reading time. Can also be used for test prep, homework, small group instruction, and independent reading practice. Use the Google slide to model the skill for the whole class. Use the 8.5 x 11 inch poster during small group instruction to reteach the skill.

Bookmarks are designed with 4 bookmarks to a page, which saves on copying and paper waste, and much of the text is in the Open Dyslexic font to support struggling readers. Bookmarks and the poster can be printed in either color or grayscale/B&W. 

Kids really enjoy this bookmark. It's less daunting than trying to fill out a full worksheet and kids find it fun.

This graphic organizer can be used for retelling any story. It includes lines for telling the beginning, middle, and End of a story and small picture box for each part.

Hansel And Gretel Story Board is part of the “My Fairytale Story Board Collection” which is a collection of reading comprehension projects or after-reading activity as supplements to our reading classes.
