The activities in this 4-digit by 1-digit multiplication lesson can each be used independently or woven together into a guided math block.  An example of a 90-minute daily math block might look like this: 

• Whole group mini-lesson 10-15 minutes
• Peer practice follow-up activity 10-15 minutes
• Group time organization-assign students to groups and front load the directions for small group and station tasks
• Rotating station work-60 minutes broken up into 20 min chunks.
• Station 1: Teacher table-we dig deeper and complete the worksheet, reteaching or extending as needed. (BONUS-I grade the papers as we go!)
• Station 2: Notebooking-students add the INB pieces to their notebooks and work the math included
• Station 3: Game of the day with a recording sheet (sometimes I even send these home for homework so parents can see how much fun their kids are having learning about estimating 4-digit by 1-digit multiplication!)

If you plan to use this resource as an interactive activity, be sure to have students cut out the definitions before providing them with the vocabulary words. This ensures that they actively engage with the material rather than having the answers readily available.

This 3D shapes puzzle is a fun way to test students recognition of 3D shapes, complete with their properities. Students match the image of a shape with the name, its properties of number of faces, vertices & edges, and a possible net.

18 shapes are included: Sphere, Cube, Cuboid (two versions), Square Based Pyramid, Cylinder, Cone, Regular Tetrahedron, Hexagonal Prism, Triangular Prism, Irregular Pentagonal Prism, Hemisphere, Square Pyramidal Frustum, Conical Frustum, Dodecahedron, Icosehedron, Irregular Tetrahedron and Octahedron.

Two versions are included; one where the 3D shapes are solid, and another where the 3D shapes are wire frames so students can see the number of edges etc. This is also a good option for using less ink when printing.

It is designed to be easily cut with little wastage. So either the teacher or tutor can prepare the cards by cutting them before hand, or students can cut their own cards, giving them a chance to see the solutions before they attempt the puzzle.

Although this product is made in colour, it prints perfectly well in black and white.

This Phases of Matter Interactive Book has students work through figuring out what a solid, liquid, and gas is and what is needed for a phase change! Students are prompted to use past knowledge to learn form their own definitions of solid, liquid, and gasses! Then, they can use the short reading to learn about the properties of each phase! At the end, students can create the template to make their very own comic about the phases of matter!

Halloween themed SEL activity pages. Students will get to personify their worries. They'll be able to think about what their anxiety tells them, what it stops them from doing, and when it shows up most. Students will be able to list their top ten worries, brainstorm coping skills, and practice a fun breathing technique. Respiratory System Overview

The respiratory system is vital for gas exchange, allowing oxygen in and carbon dioxide out. Key components include:

1. Nose: Filters and moistens air.
2. Nasal Cavity: Conditions air and detects smells.
3. Pharynx: Connects respiratory and digestive pathways.
4. Larynx: Houses vocal cords and protects the trachea.
5. Trachea: Conducts air to the bronchi, lined with cilia.
6. Bronchi: Branches into each lung, further dividing into smaller passages.
7. Bronchioles: Lead to alveoli, where gas exchange occurs.
8. Lungs: Main organs for gas exchange, containing alveoli.
9. Diaphragm: Muscle that facilitates breathing by changing lung volume.

Together, these structures ensure efficient oxygen delivery and carbon dioxide removal.
