By Mrs Wilsons Neighbourhood
Your students will love learning sign language with this fun riddle activity! After you teach them to fingerspell, they want to do it all the time! Use this task card resource to get the answer to three Winter riddles by printing the corresponding letter below the hand sign.
Students can copy the the images on the page to spell with their hands. From there, they can print the letter each hand sign represents on the line below it.
Riddles include:
What do you call a snowman in the summer?
What do snowman like to drink?
What kind of ball doesn't bounce?
You can project each sheet on interactive white board, or print individual copies for student work. Great for early finishers as well, or for use during a unit on the five senses.
