Core French teachers will be sure to add the resource to their repertoire for Grades 4 to 6 as they learn to communicate at the Junior level.

IEP students:

We all have students with IEPs who need that extra boost to build confidence and to lessen anxieties about what is happening in class. Students quickly learn to identify each card and help me put up our schedule for the day. This has had a positive impact on all students in the class and supports the most vulnerable learners too!

Students practice their listening skills and the practical life skill of counting money by 25s in this activity hosted at Boom Learning. They click on the cash register to hear how much money they "owe", and then put the appropriate number of quarters on the counter next to the register and click submit to check their answer. Students need to be able to first recognize the number when they hear it, and then count by 25s to put the correct number of coins on the counter.

Good for English language learners who need extra practice listening and recognizing numbers, or any students who need practice working on counting by 25s to reach a specific total. The amounts range from 25 cents to 300 cents. (Dollar amounts are expressed as $1, $2, $3, not 100, 200, or 300 cents.) The cards will be presented in a different order every time the game is played. With 12 cards in the deck, 8 are presented each round for a slightly different experience each time.

Do you want an easy and efficient way to track and analyze your second and third grade student data and progress with multi-digit subtraction with regrouping?

Each probe includes 8 vertical subtraction equations with 2-digit numbers in a large, clear font!

Students should solve the equations on paper showing their work if necessary. These probes are intended to be administered untimed but could be timed as well. They measure a student’s ability to subtract 2-digit numbers with regrouping and/or the student’s fluency with this skill.

How they work:

Check the missed items on the assessor probe to AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATE correct responses and ACCURACY. All data is copied to the student data sheet and correct items are GRAPHED!
