Sammie Steam was designed to look like a cross between the scientist Albert Einstein and the artist Leonardo da Vinci. This packet contains many suggested Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math challenges. It was created with the purpose of getting families actively involved with their children by completing challenges that will have them all having fun! Sammie STEAM, the adventure dog, will become your students' companion as they complete these activities outside of the school day. This will help foster a strong home/school relationships! As the children complete the activities and share them with the class other students will eagerly join in! This newly updated *94 page* unit will cover you for roughly 7-9 Core French 1-hour classes and features a teachable slide deck, worksheets, lesson plans, rubrics, success criteria, a word wall, a phrase wall and numerous suggestions to get your kids having fun, moving, interacting and legitimately enjoying French class with you. The entirety (or parts of) the unit can easily be left with a substitute teacher and you need a quick lesson plan. It's ALL here!

As with all of my Core French products, this one is geared toward a LOW-LEVEL middle-school classroom (grades 3-7). It's high-energy, interactive, highly engaging and requires no prep. It ties in to some science concepts for grades 5 & 6 on biodiversity and adaptations. It features a significant amount of game-based learning and some project-based learning

There are three longer projects included with this unit: "Mon drôle d'animal" which has them building a silly animal and describing its body parts and details; "Mon animal perdu," a poster project which has them creating a poster for their missing pet, and "Une interview à la radio" which has them writing a radio script to find their lost pet with a partner.

Firstly, there is a great classroom display and sorting activity that is perfect for introducing students to some of the key events from Ancient China. There are 40 posters or cards that include many of the key events from the time period.

Secondly, there is a close reading activity - children need to read through an informational text, and then answer comprehension and grammar questions, before completing an extension activity. This now comes with a crossword activity to consolidate learning.

Finally, there is an informational text writing unit. The unit has been split into three separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each. The interactive writing activity us ideal for students learning about Ancient China.

This packet focuses on learning about the different kinds of animals that live in the grasslands. Included are writing pages, project instructions, center activities and wall posters. It can be a simple packet for talking about the animals in general or you can go further by learning about the animals in the tropical grasslands vs. the temperate grasslands as well as learning which ones live in the African Savanna or the American Prairie/Great Plains. Table of Contents Pages 3-5 – These pages are a sorting activity where students can sort the animals according to whether they are in a tropical grassland or in a temperate grassland. They can also sort animals to whether they live in the African Savanna or the American Prairie/Great Plains. Pages 6-17 – The pages are for drawing pictures of different kinds of grasslands and drawing animals that live there. Student will write the names for the animals they draw. There are pages for grasslands, tropical grasslands, temperate grasslands, the African Savanna, the American Prairie and the Great Plains.
