Are you searching for a brain break activity? Simons Says Two-Step Directions is a great way to practice following directions, fine motor and gross motor skills, and language and literacy skills. This set includes 28 activity cards and includes two-step directions. I recommend printing the cards on card stock and laminating them for durability. The cards are great for early elementary, Occupational Therapy sessions and Physical Therapy sessions.

Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree

Directions: Tape Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree to a vertical surface or easel. Review the difference between columns and rows. Encourage the child to start at the top row and follow the rows left to right. Refer to the Christmas Tree key and have the child jump or move their arms forward, backward, right or left. To make this activity more challenging, encourage the child to state the direction they’re moving (right, left, front, back).

The Bunny Hop Directionality Activity

Directions: Tape the BUNNY HOP path to a vertical surface or easel. Review the difference between columns and rows. Encourage the child to start at the top row and follow the rows left to right.
