Welcome to the math unit that will sharpen your students' skills in both rounding and 3 digit addition and subtraction. It's everything you need to teach 3rd grade Number and Operations in Base Ten or NBT. Over 35 pages of practice to help you plan and practice all your rounding and triple digit addition/subtraction needs. Students will practice rounding numbers to the nearest hundreds and tens. Students will also use rounding to estimate the sum or difference of numbers. Along with rounding, students will practice adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers. This unit practices addition and subtraction within 1000. It also has a variety of questions that practice addition and subtraction with and without regrouping. Birthplace Fact Sheet: Introduce the composer’s birthplace with a very light research paper. Use your favorite geographical resource to find the country’s capital city, size, language, and traditional foods. The historical name of some territories may have changed, but the most modern country is used for easy reference.

Birthday Coloring Page: A fun coloring page repeats the composer’s birthday, and invites the artist to color in a special cupcake to celebrate the occasion.

Each episode is broken up so they can be completed at different times. This series is a coming of age series for students at the upper elementary and middle school level. As students are watching they can fill out the comprehension questions with help or work on the questions independently. Time travel through the 1980s, 1960s, and 1930s is covered, working together, communication, never giving up until the truth is discovered is covered in this series.
