3D shapes quiz game in Spanish
By Ms Garcia Store
Attention: Please note that this resource contains 3D images and animations optimized for PowerPoint 365.
Embark on an engaging and educational quiz game that introduces your students to nine fascinating 3D shapes in Spanish:
- Esfera (Sphere)
- Cilindro (Cylinder)
- Cono (Cone)
- Pirámide de base triangular (Triangular Pyramid)
- Pirámide de base cuadrada (Square-based Pyramid)
- Prisma triangular (Triangular Prism)
- Cubo (Cube)
- Prisma rectangular (Rectangular Prism)
- Prisma octagonal (Octagonal Prism)
Discover the Exciting Features:
This interactive game comprises 37 thought-provoking questions, each with 2 to 4 possible answers. Most questions have a single correct option, while others challenge students with multiple correct answers.
Types of Questions:
1. ¿Cuál de estas figuras es un cubo? (Which of these shapes is a cube?)
2. ¿Qué figura es esta? (What shape is this?)
Fail Gracefully, Learn Persistently:
If a question is answered incorrectly, the chosen option will be framed in red, and a buzz sound will play. But don't worry! Students can try again until they discover the right answer. Upon finding the correct response, applause sounds, and a green button will appear, inviting them to proceed to the next slide.
Enjoy Dynamic Gameplay:
To ensure a fresh experience every time you play, the slides are dynamically ordered thanks to the innovative Visual Basic code implemented in the green button. However, for those who prefer a sequential approach, a blue "SKIP" button allows you to navigate through the slides in the exact order they are arranged. Feel free to use the blue button if you wish to control the order of the questions, ensuring it aligns with your students' learning needs.
Embrace the Learning Adventure:
Upon opening the document, you might be prompted to enable content that is blocked for security reasons. This essential content constitutes the Visual Basic code for the green button's random slide feature. We recommend accepting it to maximize the game's interactive potential. However, rest assured that even without enabling this content, you will still have access to the blue button for manual slide progression.

Discover 13 captivating shapes:
Engaging Gameplay:
With 42 intriguing questions and 2 to 4 possible answers each, students will embark on an exciting journey of shape recognition. Most questions have a single correct option, but we've added a twist to keep learners on their toes. In some cases, all the options are correct!
Types of Questions:
Learn and Persist:
We understand the importance of learning through trial and error. When a question is answered incorrectly, the chosen option is framed in red, accompanied by a buzz sound. But don't worry! The game allows you to try again until you find the correct answer. When success is achieved, applause resounds, and a green button appears, inviting you to the next slide.
Dynamic Slide Ordering:

Feel free to use it occasionally to tailor the quiz to your students' learning level. When you have organized the slides in a specific order and wish to maintain it, always press the blue button, not the green one.

To ensure a seamless experience, you may encounter a security prompt when opening the document. This prompt is to enable content blocked for security reasons. Rest assured, this content merely houses the Visual Basic code responsible for the green button's dynamic slide selection. We recommend accepting it to fully enjoy the game's thrilling randomness. However, even without enabling this content, the blue button remains at your service for manual slide progression.

As an extra delight, our resource includes an Easel assessment with 28 thought-provoking questions to reinforce learning and assess comprehension.

3D shapes learning (Let's learn)
Warning: this document contains 3D images and animations that only work in PowerPoint 365
Fantastic resource in PowerPoint that will be very useful when explaining the properties of each of the following 3D shapes:
- Esfera
- Cilindro
- Cono
- Pirámide de base triangular
- Pirámide de base cuadrada
- Cubo
- Prisma rectangular
- Prisma triangular
- Prisma octagonal
A total of nine 3D shapes in their corresponding slides, where we can see how many sides, angles, and vertices each one of them has dynamically and attractively through various animations. If you click on the number of sides shown in the chart for each of the shapes, an animation clearly shows which sides are. If you click on the number of angles or the number of vertices, they will also be clearly shown to the student using individual animations.
Apart from the shape drawn as an example, a real example of that shape and another example of that shape in the art world are shown. To see this last example larger, click on it.
3D shapes quiz game (Let's play)
Warning: this document contains 3D images and animations that only work in PowerPoint 365
Fun and educational quiz game with which to learn about nine 3D shapes.
These are:
- Esfera
- Cilindro
- Cono
- Pirámide de base triangular
- Pirámide de base cuadrada
- Cubo
- Prisma rectangular
- Prisma triangular
- Prisma octagonal
This game consists of 37 questions with between 2 and 4 possible answers each. Most of the time, only one of the options is correct, but in others, it may be that all the options are correct.
There are two kinds of questions:
- Which of these shapes is a cube?
- What shape is this?
If the question is failed, the chosen option is framed in red, and a buzz sounds, but it allows you to answer again until you find the correct answer. When that happens, applause sounds, and the green button appears to allow you to move to another slide.
The order of the slides is never the same thanks to the Visual Basic code for the green button to go to a random slide. However, you have the alternative of clicking on the blue "SKIP" button. That button will go through the slides in the exact order they are placed. If you think some questions are not according to the level of your students, press this button occasionally. If you have placed the slides in a specific order and want them to be played in that exact order, always press this blue button and not the green one.
When you first open the document, you will be prompted to enable content that is blocked for security reasons. That content is nothing more than the Visual Basic code for the green button to achieve that random order. Please accept it to use it, but if you don't do it, you will still have the blue button.

Discover the captivating world of three-dimensional shapes with our fun and educational quiz game, designed exclusively for PowerPoint 365 users.
In this interactive quiz, students will explore nine fascinating 3D shapes:
- Sphere
- Cylinder
- Cone
- Triangular Pyramid
- Square Pyramid
- Triangular Prism
- Cube
- Rectangular Prism
- Octagonal Prism
Engaging Gameplay:
With 37 intriguing questions and 2 to 4 possible answers each, students will put their knowledge to the test. While most questions have a single correct option, some will present the exciting challenge of having multiple correct answers.
Types of Questions:
1. Which of these shapes is a cube?
2. What shape is this?
Learn and Persist:
Fear not, as we encourage learning through persistence. Should a question be answered incorrectly, the chosen option will be framed in red, accompanied by a buzz sound. However, we provide an opportunity for students to try again until they find the correct answer. And when they do, applause resounds, and a green button appears, signaling their passage to the next slide.
Dynamic Slide Ordering:
Experience the joy of unpredictability! The order of slides is always different, courtesy of the innovative Visual Basic code that powers the green button's random slide selection. However, for those who prefer structure, we offer an alternative. By clicking the blue "SKIP" button, slides will progress in the exact order they are arranged. Use this button occasionally to customize the quiz according to your students' learning level. If you have organized the slides in a specific order and want to preserve it, remember to use the blue button instead of the green one.
Empowering Interaction:
Our game strives to provide a seamless experience. Upon opening the document, you might be prompted to enable content blocked for security reasons. This content is merely the Visual Basic code responsible for the green button's random slide functionality. To enjoy the full potential of this dynamic game, we recommend accepting it. However, rest assured, even without enabling this content, the blue button remains accessible for manual slide progression.
Ignite Curiosity:
Foster enthusiasm for geometry and 3D shapes in your students with this enthralling quiz game. The combination of fun and education is sure to captivate learners of all ages. Download the resource today to bring excitement and valuable learning to your classroom!
