Naming & identifying fractions on a number line Google Slides no print activity
By TamiaDesigns
When your students are working on fractions, do they look at a line with 3 markers on it, (at the 0/1, 1/2, and 2/2 points), and tell you that the line is divided into thirds instead of halves because they see three lines? Originally created for Jamboard, this set of Google Slides starts by helping them focus on how many line segments there are instead, accurately identifying fractions from 1/2 to 1/8.
There are 5 different Google Slides files with 2 different kinds of question included in this purchase:
You can project the files for a whole class activity, or have students work individually. Great for a no-print in-class math center, or distance learning.
For an online, self-checking, version of this activity check out my Boom cards version.

Identifying Fractions Digital Puzzle (Self Checking and No Prep!)
By Miss Yous Clues and Resources
This product is a digital puzzle that requires students to complete 25 identifying fraction problems. The link to the digital puzzle is on a clickable PDF that you would download once purchased. Students will put the answers in the answer box (numerator/denominator or whole number fraction). This activity is no prep and is self checking. If the student puts the correct answer in, the answer box will turn green and a piece of the digital puzzle will appear in the green box to the right. If the student puts in the wrong answer, the answer box will turn red and no puzzle piece will appear. Students will know that they have completed the activity correctly when all answer boxes are green and all 25 puzzle pieces are there, forming a picture of a pug dog eating pizza. This resource also includes a student work page that includes a template/ extra guidance for students that are struggling with the skill.
This product would be great for fast finishers, independent practice, a time filler activity, day before break activity, center work, etc. Students will love this activity and the challenge of completing the puzzle!
