2nd Grade Mental Math Montessori

The Montessori Snake Game is a classroom favorite! Do you need some printable activities to get this lesson going with your Lower Elementary students? Use these cards and booklets with the Montessori beads and your children will have fun practicing their linear addition while improving their fluency. The cards and booklets also include a control of error as the answers are printed on the back of every card and page. This makes self-correction super easy and promotes independence in your classroom.

These cards and booklets all have the same questions. Children can work at different levels depending on how much support they need. Beginners start with the more concrete Bead Stair version, then move on to the numeral cards when they are ready. The booklets can be used to record answers after working with the materials, or they can stand alone for the more advanced students who are ready for more abstraction.
