Do your students need Morning Meeting ideas for April? Using different Morning Meeting ideas can lead to tremendous growth academically and socially. Do your students need August Morning Meeting ideas for August? Using different August Morning Meeting Questions can lead to tremendous growth academically and socially. The August Morning Slides can be utilized along with your greeting and other activities.  The August Morning Meeting questions should be used during the month of August or September with your students but could be used during other months too. 

There are many beginning-of-the-year questions to create strong connections between you and your students. All of the questions are on Google Slides that can be used every morning during your Morning Meeting routine. All you have to do is bring up the following Google Slide each morning for that day. There are 20 EDITABLE and DIVERSE slides just for the month of August! If you use my Morning Meeting Question of The Day (180 slides), you can use one question from that and one seasonal or monthly question each day. You would just ask two questions a day instead of one! =)

Students will create connections and develop deep discussions with the questions.  Therefore, the skills they are learning during Morning Meeting will lead to connections within their reading texts. Students who practice those skills outside of reading will most likely utilize those same skills while reading. 

Additionally, the August Question of The Day will create deep relationships between you and your students! If you have my other Morning Meeting Slides then you understand how powerful these questions can be!  

This is also an excellent resource to use with your remote learners or to assign to your students’ laptops. You could assign one or more slides to their learning management system for morning meetings or writing or reading activities.
