Let your students practice while having fun with this digital, no-prep and self-checking evaluate logarithms activity. Students will solve 9 problems using Google Sheets; as they correctly answer the questions a mystery picture will be revealed.
Solutions are included in the second sheet.
9 Problems: evaluating logarithms without a calculator.
Due to the limitations of Microsoft Excel functionality, this resource must be used in Google Sheets only at this time.

In this form students will use a real-world example of a monthly budget and saving goal. Students will use their learned knowledge of incomes and expenses to identify these items in the monthly budget. Students will practice identifying and calculating the amount of money needed for the desired expense and calculating how much money will need to be saved each month in order to attain the expense. Students will also examine the given budget to calculate the individual total income, expenses, money saved, and identify additional ways for individuals to save.
