-DIVE IN to the rich historical setting and ABSORB the text’s location and time period through maps, photographs, and secondary resource clips which allow students to visualize the time and place where this classic novel unfolds.

-ENGAGE students with FACTUAL Historical INFORMATION and images to pique their interest and set the stage for deep and meaningful comprehension.
-VISUALIZE through the use of imbedded multimedia which will generate a true curiosity about world events which are the historical backdrop of each novel.

3. **Discussion**

-Encourage students to connect their understanding of the facts presented in the PPTS to the historical context of the novels as they read.

5. **Evaluation**

- Evaluate student comprehension and engagement through individual or group digital presentations compiling results of their own research.

- Encourage students to reflect on their learning journey and how it has deepened their appreciation for this piece of literature and history Itself.
