Spanish Word Wall | High Frequency Words | Classroom Decor | Bulletin Board
By Ashley Braun
This resource includes 120 high frequency words in Spanish and a "Palabras Útiles" title poster. Pick and choose which words you want to display or use them all on your word wall or bulletin board. Print your signs on cardstock in the color(s) of your choice and hang them in your classroom to build your students’ confidence in the Spanish language. These signs are a great visual support to boost your students’ vocabulary across multiple levels. They can easily be changed out throughout the year as students progress in their proficiency.
Each sign is approximately 3.5 x 8 inches (⅓ of the page).
Included Words:
❖Articles
❖Pronouns
❖Prepositions
❖Super 7 (1st and 3rd person, present tense)
❖Possessive Adjectives
❖Demonstrative Adjectives
❖Ordering Words
❖Frequency Words
Ideas for use:
❖Display as a reference for students to enhance their writing. Encourage them to use these words as much as possible.
❖Slowly add to your word wall over time or use to introduce a word of the day/week.
❖Display all words at the back or side of the room and slowly bring each word to the front as it becomes more frequently used in class.
❖Use as a pointing reference to ensure your speech is comprehensible with the words that are difficult to gesture or represent with a photo.
