French imparfait and passé composé review game

This no-prep, self-grading French digital game will allow your students to practice the usage imparfait and passé composé. Questions include recognizing which tense a verb is in, choosing between the two tenses, translation of sentences, and which situations call for the imparfait or passé composé. Use it after students have a pretty good idea of the differences between the two tenses. Correct answers are rewarded by animation; if the student doesn't see the animation they will know need to try again!
Includes a Google drive and PowerPoint version of the game. Share with students as an individual assignment or work through the activity as a class on a smartboard.

French grammar lesson - RE verbs

Do you need a quick grammar lesson on French -re verbs? This powerpoint and handouts explain the concept clearly and concisely with more detail and examples than most textbooks have. Go through the powerpoint with your students as they take notes on the handouts. Includes examples in context with a reading passage about climbing Mount Everest.
Many textbooks do not include enough examples of using RE verbs, or they don't show the verbs in use in any meaningful way. This French grammar lesson plan will guide your students by introducing the most basic concept then building on it with examples and practice activities. Students are then challenged to "level up" by changing a passage in the elle form to the plural elles. Once you've learned how to use RE verbs, the reading activity will show them in action - learn about climbing Mount Everest.
