I do this lab as a fun introduction to body systems and human anatomy. The kiddos feel like real biologists as they dissect their own chicken wing and compare the structures they find to humans! In this lab, we build lab skills, cooperate in groups and enjoy the hard work.

I do this lab near Thanksgiving break as an introduction to body systems and human anatomy. The kiddos feel like real biologists as they watch you dissect a turkey wing and then THEY dissect their own chicken wing! In this lab, we build lab skills, work cooperative in groups and enjoy the hard work.
