ABC Bible Verses (Alphabet and Scripture)

By Early Childhood Essentials

There are 26 scriptures attached to each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. The only letter that isn’t starting the verse it corresponds with is X.

How can you use this?

Well, the main way might be using these when you go over letters of the day or week. With other resources you may have for learning each letter, this can be a chance to have your learner read the scripture and even try to memorize it.

Various versions/translations are used within.

Go deeper and read the whole passage if you want! It can turn into way more than just letters. The only letter-specific teaching this resource has is sounding out the letter in the first word of the scripture. Or have them count how many of that letter appears in the verse. But this can turn into a whole discussion or study on whatever the verse is teaching.

If you want to maximize each page’s potential, you can have readers identify nouns, adjectives, and verbs. Really, this is a supplement in the best way since it can be used in almost any way you see fit!
