Perfect for Groundhog's Day observance! File includes instructions and masters to create a groundhog using heart shapes and two non-fiction texts (one with facts about groundhogs and one with facts about the holiday). The texts can be used as student readers, or as resources for expository writing.

Help students predict and classify with this observation journal! Students first learn about the flowering plant life cycle. Then, they label the important parts of a plant. Student then plant one of 4 seeds- sunflower, firecracker, moonflower or marigold. They make predictions on what flower this will become based on the identification pages. Once a week, or whenever the educator feels is fit, the students note any changes, make a prediction on draw an observation. Let the growing begin! Seeds not included :)
