Students can answer these questions as the book is read or after they have finished reading the book or listening to the book. While reading this book and answering questions, students will learn spending money, how you get money, needs compared to wants, spending money sensibly, saving money for something, allowance, being careless with money, expressions - made of money, money doesn't grow on trees, nest egg, and what they mean, earning money, where to keep money so that it is safe, earning interest, and being selfish, greedy, and kind. Students can answer these short answer questions, yes/no questions, true/false, multiple choice questions, fill in the blank questions, and vocabulary/picture labeling questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and examples of the words used in sentences are presented. Students have the opportunity to use those words in sentences as well.

Are you looking for an easy way to help your students make sense of the mathematics they are learning? Are you ready for them to see how mathematical concepts all fit together in amazing ways to help them find answers to real questions using efficient, meaningful strategies? Do you want to do all of these things without having to spend additional time planning lessons?

The DEEP Math program is a year-long curriculum that is standards aligned. Each lesson is designed to take approximately one class period to complete. Lessons contain step-by-step directions and include discussion, an engaging focus lesson, guided practice, and independent work. Each set of five lessons includes a quiz to be administered after the lessons have been completed.

This is the third five-lesson series in a year's worth of rich and meaningful lessons that are designed with the primary goal of helping students make sense of mathematics. Your students will learn mathematics by using it, day in and day out—to form the mental images, to build the conceptual understanding, to see the connections, to become fluent in the language, and to cultivate the habits of mind—which will serve them, not only on high stakes tests, but much more importantly, for a lifetime.

Students need to know how to sort 2d shapes and identify the name of each figure. This anchor chart meant to help your kids understand how we classify shapes into categories based on their attributes, a polygon hierarchy made different! I made a polygon family tree that groups polygons into families and subgroups. This helps kids see the relationships more clearly without using arrows.

This resource is well organized and it visually shows the relationships between the multiple different classifications of the polygons, triangles and quadrilaterals. It is a must have to all kinds of learners.

Shapes included:

• Non-Polygons: Circle, Moon shape, Heart, ...
• Triangles: Equilateral, isosceles, scalene, acute, right, obtuse, Right and isosceles.
• Quadrilaterals: Square, rectangle, rhombus, parallelogram, trapezoid, kite.
• More than 4 sides: Pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, Octagon.
