This apple themed math activity focuses on continuing and completing different patterns. It teaches students how to identify a sequence and continue it using different colored apples. This gives your students a “puzzle” to complete. For your students that still struggle matching some of the uppercase and lowercase letters having the visual pictures that they can match helps them begin to be able to put the correct letters together.

Pumpkin Themed Number Play-doh Mats & Ten Frames

(Fall Activities)

This is a great fun fall-themed counting activity that helps introduce one-to-one correspondence to your students. I recommend laminating these for better durability and to be able to reuse them.

Your students can use play-doh to form each number and then make the correct amount of little play-doh balls to show the number they formed.

File Folder Count & Match Game

This is a great file folder game for your students. It’s a great way for your students to practice one-to-one correspondence as well as number recognition. There is #2 pages of numbers 1-10 as well as two pages of firetrucks with the corresponding dots 1-10.

Print, laminate and attach the #2 pages with numbers on them to a file folder. Then cut out and laminate the firetrucks with the number dots on them.

Once everything is laminated attach a velcro dot on the front of each number firetruck and then attach velcro dots to the opposite side of the firetruck cards with the number dots on them.
