Students will put the lines of the prayer in order, look up bible passages that connect to the prayer, and match the meaning of the scripture to the meaning of the prayer. This is a great activity to learn the prayer, understand the prayer, and increase bible knowledge! Love!

These 3-part sorting cards are a great way to practice and review the Nicene Creed. Students will sort the cards in order, compare the meaning of bible verses to the meaning of the prayer, and look up the bible citations and connect those to the verses. By completing this sort, students will think through the prayer and meaning many times to connect all the pieces. This can be an independent activity or a group activity. As a team activity, it will inspire numerous conversations about the meaning of the verses and the prayer.

· The left side of the cards have the words of the Nicene Creed.

· The middle of the cards has a bible verse related to the meaning of the Creed.

· The right side of the cards has the bible citations.

***This is a difficult activity that takes a lot of time and grit to complete independently. To differentiate this activity, students could complete only one page of cards at a time, sort only the order of the prayer, or print each page on a different color of paper so the students have a colored ‘hint’ for the correct order of the cards.***
