Time out cards to use as a non-verbal behaviour management resource in the classroom.

Why do you need this?

Time out cards can be helpful for teachers to signal to students when they need to take a break from an activity or situation, promoting self-regulation and preventing escalation of behavioral issues. By providing a non-verbal cue, teachers can discreetly address behavior concerns without disrupting the flow of the classroom. This resource allows students to self-monitor their behavior and provides them with a tangible tool to manage their emotions and actions.

This resource includes 13 self-care circular coping strategy printable cards to support students explore coping and self-care strategies. These strategies are great for teenagers.

The strategies include the following:

Drink water, sort through closet, have a good laugh, listen to music, eat breakfast, meditate, play with pet, read a comic, ride a bike, stretch muscles, talk to a friend, phone a friend and write a poem.
