1) Inuit Culture and Life (4 pages):
Learn about Inuit culture, traditions and modern life with this 4 page lesson. Living in Canada's Arctic is not what most of us are used to and the Inuit culture is incredibly rich. Students will learn about how Inuit people lived and survived in the past and learn about Inuit communities that exist today.
2) All About Igloos (6 pages):
Learn how the Inuit people used and built igloos in Canada's arctic. 3 page handout lesson, reflection questions and a lesson plan to guide you building igloos. This is a fun winter activity.
3) All About Inukshuks (6 pages):
Learn the importance of inukshuks in Inuit culture in Canada's Arctic. Students learn about the 4 types of inukshuks, their purpose - activity included as well as question worksheet. Paint inukshuks with my art lesson plan as well.
