If you need an easy way to keep track of your students'/children's attendance for the year, have to submit to your state for homeschool renewal, or for your personal records, I have created this simple attendance tracking log. All you need to do is put in your students'/children's name, school/academy) grade, and track attendance for each month of the school year by checking off boxes.

This has been created in Excel format, but can be downloaded to Google Slides.

Updated Yearly For Free! ThisTeacher Planner will help you stay organized while helping address your students (and teachers') social-emotional needs at the same time. Each weekly calendar page of this planner includes space for daily events, lesson planning reminders, the question of the day, end of week reflection, a mindfulness tip, space to log parent-teacher communication and student behaviors. As a 5th grade teacher, I use this planner every day. It helps me quickly jot down lesson plan notes (like what math lessons I'm teaching this week), note any meetings I'm supposed to attend (or run), and record any parent communication and students I need to further support. It also includes a weekly positive affirmation, which is as much for me as it is for the students, and a question of the day. I use my teacher planner in conjunction with the Student Planner and the Question of the Day Google slides so that I am intentional about saving time for social emotional learning in my busy day.

NOTE: This PDF file includes weekly pages starting from July 29, 2024 - June 27, 2025. Dates are already written in. Pages are oriented LANDSCAPE, not portrait style. When printed double-sided, bound and open, two weeks are visible at a time. Before printing, I highly recommend adding a cover page and additional SEL pages designed with teacher self-care in mind. (I'm adding zentangle coloring pages and inspirational quotes for my own staff.)
