You can get a big bang for your buck with this resource! Think "Flat Stanley" of Science. Sammie Steam was designed to look like a cross between the scientist Albert Einstein and the artist Leonardo da Vinci. This packet contains many suggested Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math challenges. It was created with the purpose of getting families actively involved with their children by completing challenges that will have them all having fun! Sammie STEAM, the adventure dog, will become your students' companion as they complete these activities outside of the school day. This will help foster a strong home/school relationships! This is a great science 3-page non-fiction text about how some animals use the earth's magnetic field to help them with migration. It is paired with a choice of two STEM activities (one easy and one more challenging).
